Tayyab started exploring & trekking in the mountains in the early 80s, beginning a life-long love affair with the wilderness. By late 80 he was an active volunteer for Adventure Foundation, leading rock-climbing courses for youngsters, and got certification for Camp Councilor & Wilderness Guide.
He did mountain guides courses in Karakorum run by professors from ENSA and won scholarship to complete advance mountaineering course at Chamonix, French Alps. He has climbed to 7600m on Tirich Mir, lead successful expeditions on Spantik and has explored the most remote corners of Pakistan. He also served as the Vice President of Adventure Foundation and PATO (Pakistan Association of Tour Operators)
Having worked in professional tourism industry for 35 years and with 28 years’ experience of running his own company, he has extensive knowledge of his country. The affair with the corporate world stated in 2003 and led him to facilitating / leading more than 100 corporate bootcamps & team building outbreaks in Pakistan & abroad. Now Karavan Leaders is the first-choice company in corporate sector for outdoor activities.
